To Follow Or Not To Follow? That Is The Question!

I had a much better day today! I spent a lovely hour talking with one of the elderly ladies that took part in the long-term conditions research I did last year for my dissertation. She's 71 and feisty and I totally adore her! We talked about not always choosing the path that is laid out in front of you and that sometimes taking the more scary one leads to a more fulfilling experience. I was inspired...she's inspiring! In this picture the path laid out is the one that you can see stretching into the horizon and the one less trodden is the blank squiggly one heading off to the side. I like making my life more difficult for myself...I would more often that not choose the squiggly one. Which one would you go for?

(I'm going to have to apologise for the image quality. I now have a working camera but my Macbook Air doesn't have an SD Card slot and it's not recognising the one I connected via the USB port. I'm going to have to work out how to get all my new technology working but decided, in desperation (and at the suggestion of Chris), to take a photo of the picture using the camera on the laptop)

I have never been the type to take the easy path, or the obvious one. With you on that one! Love the story that led to this!

Sometimes the more difficult! Lovely to enjoy the wealth of experiences of others :-)

Jennifer - Yeah, when you take the harder one then the rewards are that much sweeter!

Sub - Can't take the hard path all the to choose when and when not to :-)
