Syria # 2

Just when you thought it was safe...I go and add Syria # 2. I think this works much better than the other one. The mouth is more pronounced so has a bigger impact. I promise this is the last one of my 'darker' pics...I have some new ideas that I am going to explore and I'm still planning to do a colour version of 'Oak Tree At The End Of The World'. Watch this space...

Keep the dark going Carol. Whatever you're feeling needs to come out. This is a very important piece that you have done. Pictures DO speak louder than words.

There is no light without the dark. I think it is important to explore both and this is definitely a case of a picture saying more than a thousand words, Carol.

Jamie - No doubt they will re-surface when I'm getting annoyed or frustrated about something but last night I went for a walk and watched the sun set over the fields and today the sun is shining and I'm going to do a favour for a friend. Its hard to be annoyed on a day like today!

Talon - That is very true! It is important to explore both...which is something I have never done before. It's been an interesting process for me!

Yeah, when I read yesterday that another 24 people had been killed in Syria I felt that it was time to share Syria # 2.
