Pain

I slipped going down the stairs last night (Oi! I was sober at the time I'll have you know!).
I guess that is what I get for attempting to go round the cat rather than just shoving his fat furry butt out of the way! They say that pain is all in the mind...all in the mind my arse!!

I guess it's instinct to save the animals before ourselves, but ouch! Hope your arse feels less painful quickly, Carol. I once lifted Riley (years back when he was a hefty pup) off the stairs (figuring I would save myself from a tumble) and turned funny and ended up slipping two discs. Go figure. Maybe the animals are plotting against us?

I swear that Grumplestiltskin deliberately tries to trip us up! Hope you're feeling better soon..

Ouch! feel better soon!

There is a theory that cats do that on purpose....

Hope you feel better soon - and nice interpretation of pain, how it becomes the centre of mind/feeling/perception...

Talon - Yup, definitely plotting! I was carrying stuff and had shifted Gai by giving him a dunt...he went down two stairs and evidently decided that it was a bit too much exercise to go down the stairs all in one go so he just stopped in front of me. That was when I decided to just go round him! I'm much better today so think I will be fine to do my Nordic Walking on Thursday when I'm back home.

Ooooh slipped disks are painful...I've never had one but my Mum has and she was in agony. Hope all is well now?

DJ - Gai definitely tries to when he sees me with my rucksack! I think it's his tactic to make me stay...Lugs just sits in it as if to say 'Where ever it is your going I'm coming too'. They are furry pains in the butt (literally!).

Blu - Much better today ta :-)

Jennifer - LOL...I think perhaps they do. Mind you...not sure Gai has the brain capacity (he's not that bright) I'm sure it was just that he couldn't be bothered going ALL the way down the stairs...there was no food on offer so why make the effort!

It kinda was all I could think about. Hurt everytime I moved but is much better today :-)

Another great concept. Possibly another one with what's going on in the cats brain would be interesting too. lol

Jamie - Having watched my cat chase reflections this morning I think there is not a lot that goes on within a cats brain!
