Your pieces are beautiful!!! The second one with the two people, I had to look at it for a few minutes before I could figure out what it was. I love artwork like that because once I see it, it becomes all the better - like an abstract but not really. Gee that made lots of sense, but do you know what I mean?

Do you do any color work or just b&w?

Hi Amy

Thank you (I'm still nervous about people seeing them). I know exactly what you mean about the one with the two people - I showed my friend the picture and then had to explain to her what it was :-)

I do do colour as well but have chosen to do all the stuff for the exhibition in black and white. If people like my drawings and want something done in colour then I am more than happy to do it.

You can see some colour stuff in the February posting 'She liked the dogs'

Caroline - Thank you so much. I have discovered since doing the drawing that I have a thing about flowers.....oh and trees....and houses....and...(I'm going to stop there before people think I am completely insane!!)

Mel - Thank you as well. I still feel ridiculously shy about putting them out there (I have no idea how the hell I'm going to cope at the exhibition).

I love your blog - your Mother-In-Law sounds hilarious. Hope you have recovered from the teeth in glass incident!!
