The Laptop (BCD Painting)

Am still working away on my Dementia report so thought it appropriate to draw the
laptop sitting on the table!

Carol, sorry I haven't been for a while: looks like the pair of us are as busy as 2 bees! Just had a peek at your blog, and I ADORE these splatter ink drawings! I love to use ink and dried garden twigs, sharpened to different points, and to be honest, I think the "mistakes " only make them more endearing.... You have inspired me to sketch once a day, I used to and I still try to, but without a real push, it's hard to keep the momentum going... And a BIG congrats on the book to be published inNew York! Sounds amazing.. I'm very happy for you. Good luck" and keep on drawing.

How cool is that?! That's amazing for blind. And with the dark ink, very cute!

I have loved seeing these spattery ink drawings come through the mail. Your "stick-to-it-iveness" is such an inspiration, and your ability to switch around techniques and work through ideas... and now while moving house and busy time at a challenging job! I remain your fan!

Judith - Don't worry....I don't get to visit the blogs half as much as I would like to! Dropping in every so often is just fine with me :-)

I'm enjoying doing the splatters. They are kinda freeing and very different to my normal 'controlled drawings'

Mel - Thanks hon. I'm definitely getting better at doing them!

Jennifer - I'm not doing as well as I hoped at the moment. I'm still getting a drawing a day done (ish) but am struggling to find the time to load them up...am just about to do a whole host of them and then I will pop over to see how you are getting on. I'm finding it hard to get back on track after the break with the house move...there just seems to be so much to do but I WILL get there!
