Christening Tree

My lovely friend Michelle asked me if I could cobble together a fingerprint tree as a present for her friend who's kids are being christened tomorrow...this is it!

(For those of you that are thinking 'What the hell is a fingerprint tree?' the idea is that guests at the christening/wedding/housewarming will put one of their fingers on an ink pad and then place it next to one of the branches of the tree and sign their name below. It's a great way of recording who came along and then you can frame it and put it up on the wall)

~~Erm, so they can write their names on it, not leave their fingerprints!

What a neat idea. I've never heard of it, but a wonderful way to commemorate a family tree :)

Talon - My friend Steve popped over briefly last night to give me back the ink and a pen that I had loaned them. He said that it was a big hit and that it looked great when all the fingerprints were on it :-D

(Phew!)
