It looks great. I've been looking at Lulu and few others with the idea of publishing a book of paintings and writing.

Was it difficult to format?

I'd be interested to know what you thought of the quality too.

Completly amazing. You should print off a few more and sell them!

What a thoughtful gift and a lovely memento of your life in Thailand. Best wishes. Lesley

This looks so professional Carol and is the ideal personal present for someone one loves, because after a few years most of the things they want have been bought for birthdays or Christmas.

I just don't know how you found the time to do it, with your studies and everything else. How is the course panning out and have you started the voluntary sideline yet?

Claire - It took me ages to get a layout that I was happy with but I'm pleased with the result....and, more importantly, Chris likes it!!

Would be fab to meet up with you in Dec...lets hope we can arrange something!!

Mark - I think your idea of a book is a great one!!

I found My Publisher really easy to use...the software was quite intuitive although I did have some frustrations with the layout (I wanted more control over horrizontal vs verticle) but all in all I thought it was pretty good.

The finished product is lovely. The printing is very crisp and they have used good quality paper so it feels good too!! I know your in Wales at the moment but when your back in Wiltshire I'm happy to meet up for a coffee or something and you can have a look at the book (save you spending any money!!)

Debs - Glad you like it hon :-)

LadyFi - It was very easy to use!! If your thinking about having a go I can highly recommend it!! The finished book is lovely, communication from My publisher was great and it only took just over a week to arrive :-)

DJ - I'm toying with the idea of making another one that has some blurb about each photo (I think people would prefer that) and then perhaps selling them...need to have a proper think about it.

Lily - Awww, thanks hon.

Sea Blue Sky - It turned out really well and it's nice to be able to open a book and see them. (we have most of our photo's on the computer so dont look at them very often)

French Fancy - It's just so hard to buy presents sometimes. I don't like getting things that someone would probably buy themselves.

Hehehehe, I'm not sure how I found the time to do it either!! I've been approached about doing another two commission pieces and I've still to finish the one I'm currently working on (Although I've not much more to do on it....almost there!!).

I'm in the process of writing a post about how it's all going....should be finished tomorrow.

It certainly looks pretty impressive. Do you miss Bangkok? Thanks for posting the book.

Crystal Jigsaw - I really miss the friends that I made there (the nice thing is that I've managed to see a lot of them when they have been over visiting family) and I miss some of the things we used to do...but I don't miss it as much as I thought I would. (I certainly don't miss walking about with a face like a burst tomato because of the heat!!)

Glad you like it :-)
